Versus Creative is a Los Angeles based, music-focused agency that specializes in building communities and experiences that connect people to artists and culture.

We work with some of the world’s most renowned music festivals, musicians & brands to architect and execute marketing campaigns, experiential strategies, content direction and partnerships.

In addition to the agency work, Versus owns and operates the OFFAIR events series and OFFAIR Records, a label and joint venture with Universal Music, with the intention of soundtracking deeper experiences through music.

SOCIAL MEDIA CREATIVE COORDINATOR

Versus Creative is looking to hire a full-time Social Media Creative Coordinator to join our team. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing social media strategy across festivals, artists, and other music-focused projects.

The ideal candidate is passionate about music, digital storytelling, and content creation, with a deep understanding of how to engage audiences across platforms.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, manage, and execute social media calendars across multiple accounts.

  • Actively engage with followers and participate in relevant cultural conversations and trends.

  • Research and analyze audience behavior to increase traffic, engagement, and brand awareness.

  • Conceptualize and produce lightweight content for social platforms (short-form videos, graphics, stories, etc.).

  • Write compelling, brand-aligned copy for posts, captions, and campaigns.

  • Assist in developing creative briefs for content creators, influencers, and internal teams.

  • Research and identify creators and influencers for collaborations.

  • Conduct outreach and coordinate influencer partnerships.

  • Manage relationships with artists, brands, and content partners.

  • Prepare detailed reports on social performance, trends, and campaign effectiveness.

  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.

  • Assist in managing approvals, asset production, and deadlines with clients and partners.

  • Work closely with project leads on various social media initiatives.

  • Ensure all content aligns with brand and campaign goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in the music industry, social media marketing, content creation, or digital strategy. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field preferred.

  • Proficiency in core social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Threads, Snapchat, etc.).

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Premiere (ability to edit and adapt assets for different platforms).

  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later).

  • Strong understanding of analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics).

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, demonstrated in past work.

  • Strong project management, organization, and multitasking abilities.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and recommend strategic adjustments.

  • Effective verbal communication and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

  • Passion for and knowledge of music, with familiarity with Versus Creative’s artists and projects.
